The American film industry took the role of promoting American and Allied military interests during WWII, but Hollywood was at first reluctant to condemn Nazi anti-Semitism. How Hollywood changed, why and what was accomplished through the change is shown in this documentary that rightly gives Hollywood the title of a new type of witness.
