The workshop will be conducted entirely in English since the participants and lecturers come from various countries.

At the short documentary filmmaking workshop you will learn to develop your idea for a film, explore it in depth, develop a script and acquire the necessary skills to make your film a reality. After completing the workshop the participants will put their skills to work shooting and editing their short documentary film.

The workshop consists of lectures by film experts from Croatia and abroad (such as structuring shot material), in combination with practical exercises on the specific conditions of documentary film (such as shooting during poor lighting - using objects on hand to improve it, sound conditions outdoors, etc.). Branko Lustig, a famous film producer and double Academy Award winner, will give one of the lectures in the workshop.
