The workshop organizer covers the expenses of accommodation and meals for the participants during the workshop (June 10-13) while the participants cover travel expenses.
*After completing the workshop, if the participants wish to stay on at the JFF, the organizer can help them with finding accommodation in Zagreb.

Conditions for application:
In addition to filling in the application form you should send in some material for your film project. The material has to include:

  1. the idea* for a film and your motivation for making it
  2. the story for a film (an explanation of the theme, the characters and the action)
  3. visual material (video material, up to 5 minutes, e.g. interviews; photographs, etc.

You can also send a trailer or a segment of a short film you need help with.

* The participants by no means have to be Jewish, however, since the workshop is organized within the festival of Jewish film, the themes of the workshop is
"A Jewish experience - an unusual story of ..."

Who can apply:
- students of film academies from Croatia and abroad
- people who have already mastered the basics of script writing/ directing/ shooting/ editing (from Croatia and abroad)
- people who have already participated on a film project
- people who already have some hands-on experience of film
