the year my parents went on vacation

It takes place in the turmoil's of the 70ties in Brazil, and it talks about Maur's shocking and humorous coming-of-age through personal and political crises. Raised by his grandparents, after his parents have to flee into hiding as the leftists. His new home is a multiethnic district of Arabs, Jews and Greeks, and all this during preparation for the World Cup while their differences become ever more clear.
