The band is coming to visit
Once, not long ago, a small Egyptian police band got lost in Israel. They came to play at an initiation ceremony, but for who knows what reasons got stranded at the airport and tried to manage on their own in a small forgotten Israeli town somewhere in the hear of the desert. Now, after Cannes, numerous awards of the Israeli Film Academy, and the Audience Award at Sarajevo Film festival, The Band's Visit (Bikur Hatizmoret), a film by Israeli director Eran Kolirin is coming to the JFF and we are sure the band will not get lost this time. |
